Triple Glazing

The master bedroom at Elsey CroftFind upgraded triple glazed velux windows in the Eames, Thompson and the Hughes

Why triple glazing? Because it helps in two ways:

Noise levels. Double glazed velux windows can be noisy. Triple glazing makes them more comparable to the noise you’d hear when the rain is hitting a regular window. We’d describe it as a soothing noise rather than something that will make you reach for ear plugs.

Comfort. A lot of people say velux windows make your house more energy efficent, and they do, but not enough for it to be anything to shout about. What they do however is make your home more comfortable by making the insulation level of your windows more in line with the insulation your walls provide, reducing any cold spots.

You’ll benefit from these triple glazed velux’s the most therefore in the Hughes and the Thompson – both homes have triple glazed velux’s in the master bedroom suite.

We chose triple glazing to key areas predominantly because no one wants their sleep to be disturbed by heavy rainfall, but we think the added comfort created in these spaces will also be beneficial to our new home owners.
