An update for local residents
We’ve had a few concerns expressed to us regarding the work at Kearns Village. We hope you all received the residents letter we sent out in September advising you of works starting. We understand the work will cause some disruption to local people but we are doing all we can to minimise that.
Work on Cowpe Road , directly outside Kearns Village, is being done by United Utilities. The water system in the area has not been improved for many years. Our works mean that the system is being cleaned and brought up to today’s standards. Unfortunately there will be some disruption on the road whilst this happens but there is a traffic light system in operation. The dirty water you can see on the road at the moment is due to blocked drains. The drainage to the area has been significantly improved on every single development we have ever worked on. Our Managing Director has an engineering background and drainage is his speciality. We assure you that once we are complete the area will function to modern standards.
