Spotlight on… The Heron and Osprey, Ebor Mills

Reserve now and we’ll give you £1000 off your flooring!

Have you ever dreamt of living in a brand new community by the water, in a tranquil location?

If you answered yes, this offer on our Heron and Osprey homes might be for you. They are a striking row of detached natural stone and slate townhouses covering 3 floors of living space. The ‘Sawtooth’ roof was originally designed to maximise natural light for the weavers at work, hence the name, and we’ve maintained a similar effect with the roof line of the row of Heron and Osprey homes.

The Osprey is located at the end of the row and has a slightly larger footprint than the neighbouring Heron homes, at c.1522 sq. ft., and more space for off-street parking. The four detached Heron townhouses each cover c.1475 sq. ft. and are connected only by the continuous façade, the main entrances of which face west, overlooking Bridgehouse Beck.

These detached homes have three floors, three double bedrooms, a 4th bedrooom/study and a garden, and can be accessed both via the rear garden and via the new footpath link we’ve created parallel to Bridgehouse Beck. They have a covered porch area leading to the front door, from which the entrance hallway opens straight onto the expansive, open plan living space. This comprises a kitchen, at the front of the home, and ample space for dining and seating towards the rear, plus handy understairs storage adjacent to the kitchen. There’s also a cloakroom and double doors which give onto the turfed rear garden. Up on the first floor there’s lots of storage, two double bedrooms, one with an en suite shower room and one overlooking the water, and a house bathroom with bath. The house bathroom has two doors – one providing access from the landing and one connecting it to the third bedroom. The second floor is home to a fabulous master suite that runs the full length of the house and has an en suite shower room and space for dressing and seating areas, as well as a Juliet balcony with views onto the Beck. There is also a 4th bedroom that could double as a study, providing a separate, secluded spot for home working, with a Velux window overhead to maximise natural light.
