The Larkin townhouses are part of a terrace of five homes at Ebor Mills in Haworth that has been designed to pay tribute to the 19th century multi-storey spinning mill that once stood in its place. The terrace is constructed from coursed, tumbled stone that’s true to both the existing mill complex and the local area, with natural slate roofs. Stonework details, including cast stone lintels and banding, cornicing below the roof line and decoration to the terrace’s tower, are inspired by the historical buildings, while contrast panelling and large Crittal-inspired windows add to the industrial feel. The two Larkin townhouses can be found at Plot 35, which is in the centre of the terrace, and Plot 37 (sold), which is at the northern end of the terrace. Both occupy three spacious storeys and cover c. 1713 sq. ft. The upper ground floors benefit from very large integrated garages, with space for a workshop or storage as well as parking – there is also off-street, outdoor parking for two cars.
