About this home
The Eavestone is one of a terrace of five handsome townhouses at Ebor Mills in Haworth that have been designed to pay tribute to the 19th century multi-storey spinning mill that once stood in its place. The terrace is constructed from coursed, tumbled stone that’s true to both the existing mill complex and the local area, with natural slate roofs. Stonework details, including cast stone lintels and banding, cornicing below the roof line and decoration to the terrace’s tower, are inspired by the historical buildings, while contrast panelling and large Crittal-inspired windows add to the industrial feel. The Eavestone is one of two three bedroom townhouses in the terrace, the other being the Bluebell next door, and is slightly smaller, at c. 1154 sq. ft. The Eavestone is a favourite, tried-and-tested house style we’ve constructed at previous developments, and we’ve made little tweaks here to make sure it looks right at home at Ebor Mills. The home is entered via the upper ground floor, with the front door facing the garden and off-street parking for two cars. A wide entrance hallway leads to a WC, utility room and ample storage space, and there’s also direct access to the integrated single garage. Stairs lead down to the heart of the home: the open plan living space that occupies the entire lower ground floor. There’s a desirable island kitchen and plenty of space for seating and dining, as well as a corner nook at the bottom of the stairs that could accommodate a desk for home working or a comfy chair for reading. Double doors open onto the elevated, west-facing patio, which looks out across the development towards Bridgehouse Beck. The bedrooms are up on the first floor, with a single and double that share a family bathroom with bath, and a third master bedroom with its own en suite shower room.
