New homes in Haworth | introducing Ebor Mills
We first acquired Ebor Mills in 2018 and have since worked tirelessly to create a development that honours Ebor Mills’ historical significance and suits its surroundings. Our final plans were designed in close collaboration with heritage and environmental experts and also engaged with the local community.
Ebor Mills dates back to 1819 and it seems fitting that two centuries later the site is set to be completely regenerated and given a new lease of life, after many years of neglect. Haworth was once a textile manufacturing powerhouse, and Ebor Mills forms part of the rich tapestry of the region’s industrial past.
We are transforming historic, listed buildings that once housed important mill functions, including the spinning mill, warehouse and economiser, as well as three former mill workers’ cottages, into 16 unique and modern homes. A series of weaving sheds at the rear of the site have been demolished, but in their place we are building 24 new homes designed to pay tribute to Ebor Mills’ heritage, and its setting.
Our homes have between one and four bedrooms, are available in a variety of styles, from apartments to terraced cottages to substantial detached homes, and will create a distinct hamlet within Haworth itself. The original chimney will remain in situ, maintaining Ebor Mills’ distinctive silhouette and roof line, while the old boiler house will also be restored and retained as a historical asset. We’ve included public access routes to the site so that these assets can be enjoyed and appreciated by all.
Ebor Mills is enveloped in beautiful countryside and adjacent to Bridgehouse Beck, whose rushing waters once powered Ebor Mills, so many of our homes enjoy picturesque views and all have wonderful landscape to explore right on their doorsteps.

At first the Ebor Mills Sales Office will be located at our sister development in Haworth, The Bridge, which is a two minute drive, or ten minute walk, away, off Bridgehouse Lane. Our Sales Advisors will conduct off-plan appointments here on Thursday, Friday, Sunday and Monday each week.
We’re following the Government guidance relating to our industry closely. The property market is permitted to remain open during the latest lockdown, so we are continuing to take bookings for safe, socially distanced appointments and viewings at our developments.
